【Abstract】Based on the survey data, this paper examines the impact mechanism of labor rights protection on the urban integration of elderly migrant workers. The empirical results show that the damage to labor rights and interests such as wage arrears, work-related injury disputes, and labor contract disputes will significantly affect the degree of urban integration of elderly migrant workers. Further investigation of the labor rights dispute resolution process shows that: first, when the elderly migrant workers are more satisfied with the resolution of the rights protection process after the occurrence of labor rights and interests damage, the degree of urban integration is significantly higher than that of those who have not had labor rights disputes; Second, the government-led resolution of labor rights disputes has a certain "amplification effect" on the urban integration of elderly migrant workers. When elderly migrant workers are satisfied with the process of rights protection, government intervention in the process will significantly improve their degree of urban integration. When they are not satisfied with the process of defending their rights, government intervention in the process of resolution has led to a greater decline in the degree of urban integration. Therefore, this paper argues that it is necessary to improve the prevention at the source and prevent the occurrence of labor rights and interests disputes. Establish a coordination mechanism for the protection of migrant workers' labor rights and interests; Strengthen the government's sense of responsibility, territorial supervision, multi-departmental coordination, and give play to the government's active role in the protection of the labor rights and interests of elderly migrant workers.
