  • Abstract: 

    The 3D reconstruction technology has made great progress and it has been applied more and more widely in many industries. However, traditional 3D reconstruction has problems such as cumbersome calculation, poor flexibility, and high equipment costs. In this paper, a 3D reconstruction and visualization App using monocular vision service is implemented. The flow and method for 3D reconstruction, data transmission and message communication between the mobile terminal and server are presented. Then a mobile-based 3D reconstruction system is designed and implemented. The mobile terminal of the system is responsible for uploading the data required for 3D reconstruction. The server is responsible for the intensive calculations required for 3D reconstruction. The system has low cost, simple operation and strong real-time performance, and it meets expected functional requirements and performance requirements, can adapt to different mobile terminals, and has a wide range of application scenarios.
