Venue: The No.1 lecture hall, First floor of the conference center.
Introduction: Dr. Yaxi Hu’s current research at Carleton University focuses on developing novel sensitive detection methods for detecting adulteration in food and agricultural products. During this lecture, she introduced the latest omics technologies, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA), microfluidics, and other related instruments, analytical detection methods, and their applications in rapid food testing. Her research interests are developing novel sensitive detection methods for detecting adulteration in food and agricultural products.
