On July 30th, “Shenhao Cup” Sixth China Postgraduate Robot Innovation Design Competition was held in the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangsu University. The competition was organized by the Graduate School and the School of Mechanical Engineering, and hosted by the School of Mechanical Engineering.

In the morning of July 30, the expert group discussion was held in B410 conference room of School of Mechanical Engineering. Liu Jizhan, Liang Zhenwei, Cui Bingbo, Jiang Yong, Liu Wei, Han Dianlei of College of Agricultural Engineering, Wang Hai and Xue Hongtao of College of Automotive and Transportation Engineering, Zhu Yi of College of Computer Science, Yuan Hao, Hu Xinghao, Fang Yijun, Wang Wenbo, Ji Chen and Xu Gongyue of College of Mechanical Engineering attended the meeting, which was presided over by Ye Yunxia, Vice Dean of College of Mechanical Engineering.

Ye Yunxia introduced this year's participation in the China Graduate Student Robot Innovation Design Competition of our university and the specific scoring principles of the on-campus judging meeting. The competition attracted a total of 35 teams from the College of Mechanical Engineering, the College of Electrical Engineering, the College of Agricultural Engineering, the College of Computer Science, the College of Automotive and the Automotive Research Institute, a record high.

At the evaluation meeting, the contestants went to the stage in order to defend themselves, and made an introduction from the background of topic selection, project content, core technology, project application prospect and other aspects. After the contestants finished the PPT introduction, the evaluation experts commented on the works one by one and put forward valuable suggestions.

This on-campus selection contest aims to provide a communication platform for on-campus academic innovation competition, and at the same time give the contestants pre-competition guidance and encouragement to motivate the contestants to achieve better results in the national competition, and win glory for the university. The School of Mechanical Engineering has always emphasized the integration of “innovation” into the whole process, system and chain of postgraduate training, and the School will comprehensively strengthen the guidance and protection of the participating teams to deliver excellent teams and works for the national competition.
