Zoran Ristovski was recently appointed Distinguished Visiting Professor of Tsinghua University. The appointment ceremony was held at the School of Environment (SOE). Professor He Kebin, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor Xi Jinying, Associate Chair of the SOE School Council, attended the appointment ceremony, while Professor Liu Huan chaired the event.

He Kebin introduced Professor Zoran Ristovski’s academic achievements. He mentioned that Tsinghua’s collaboration with Professor Zoran Ristovski began through the Australia-China Center for Air Quality Science and Management (ACC-AQSM), where he now serves as director. Over the years, the partnership has blossomed into collaborative projects that tackle complex air quality issues, and numerous exchanges of expertise between Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Tsinghua’s faculty and students. He thanked Professor Zoran Ristovski for the generous support that facilitated these exchanges. He Kebin noted that both sides will expand cooperation through new joint programs and advanced research projects.
