Abstract:
Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region is one of the most important city cluster in China, the urbanization rate of the central cities in it has reached the upper area of the internationally accepted standard. In this situation, inventory optimization will be the main spatial resources for urban sustainable development, and the inventory industrial space would be the most motivated for transformation and renewal.
The project should be a research plan to find the best solution for transformation and renewal by simulating the whole process of transformation. The study is going to start from carding for the layout status and characters of the inventory industrial space in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, followed by selecting 8-10 typical area as research objects at the same time establishing the ArcGIS Geo-Database. The researchers in the project try to study the motivation mechanism of transformation and renewal for inventory industrial space and seek the driving condition of self-organization power and manual intervention power under the different transformation Scenarios, then analyze the relative items, impact factors and renewal and evolution rules. After that we would like to develop the simulation technology for transformation by coupling the GIS platform and CA modeling to create the ISCA model (Inventory Space Cellular Automata), followed by programming for renewal and evolution rules and simulating the transformation desire, transformation
process, and transformation effect for different scenarios cases. At last, we plan to discover the methods of evaluation and decision under the consulting and sharing to let more groups of different benefit participate the decision process. To do all the above is for seeking the scientific method of planning and research for transformation and renewal of inventory industrial space.
