Li Zhe is the Distinguished Research Fellow of the School of Architecture, Tianjin University and the Deputy Director of Key Lab of Information Technology for Architectural and Cultural Heritage Approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Li received Ph. D degree from Tianjin University, M. Arch degree from Tianjin University, and B.S degree from Hebei University of Technology. And he was a visiting scholar at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
His research interests mainly focus on Preservation Design of Architectural Heritage, Intelligent Analysis of Architectural Heritage, Low Altitude Information Acquisition in Architectural Field.
As the chief project researcher, he won the program of the Natural Science Foundation of China 3 times and other provincial and ministerial fund projects 3 times in recent 10 years. He is the author of Low Altitude Photography of Architecture (2016), published more than 30 papers in various academic journals of architecture or heritage and applied for nearly 10 Patents and Software Copyrights.
