Line/Vector" is the "8+" graduation design work of architecture majors in China. The topic is located in Yanshen Ancient Town of Boshan District, Zibo City, which is the "Porcelain Capital of the North of the Yangtze River", and focuses on exploring the renewal strategy of the historical area where traditional residential houses coexist with industrial heritage in the present city, and constructing a renewal strategy by doing so. It focuses on exploring the regeneration strategy of the historical area where traditional houses and industrial heritage coexist in today's city, and constructing a place experience with historical and cultural thickness. The design proceeds sequentially from the different scales of "City-Ancient Town-Architecture", abandoning the harmonious spatial dialogue formed entirely by environmental texture, adopting the logic of landscape narrative and linear design to complete the expression of spatial paths with a strong narrative and combining the introduction of light and shadow, the collocation of materials, and the scale of the design. Combined with the introduction of light and shadow, the matching of materials and the special shaping of the scale, it creates a ceramic showroom with a quiet atmosphere. The design organically integrates the regional nodes of Yan Shen Ancient Town, emphasises the historical lineage and regional characteristics of the town, and connects the existing cultural resources of the site.
