56 Scholars from SEIE Have Been listed in the "World's Top 2% Scientists"!

Stanford Elsevier Top Scientists List of the world’s best scientists for 2024 is out on September 16, 2024. This list, made by Stanford University and Elsevier, shows the top 2% of scientists from all over the world. 56 scholars from School of Electrical and Information Engineering at Tianjin University have been listed!

Introduction

The Top 2% of the World's Top Scientists List uses the citation data system of the Scopus database to analyze and select the top 2% of the world's top scientists from nearly 7 million scientists through a variety of comprehensive indicators such as the number of citations, H-index, HM factor, etc. The list is categorized into 22 fields and 176 sub-fields. The list includes the Lifetime Scientific Influence Ranking, which focuses on  scholars’ influence in their academic careers, and the Annual Scientific Influence Ranking, which focuses on scholars' academic achievements in the year. The Top Scientists List aims to provide indicators of scientists' long-term scientific performance and reflect scientists' academic influence in a realistic and objective manner.
