Recruitment of Postdoctoral Fellow in Our Hospital's Livelihood Management Research Group

The Management Livelihood Research Group of the School of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University is now recruiting 2 postdoctoral fellows from both domestic and international sources. The specific requirements are as follows:

1、 Introduction to the Institute

The School of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University originated from the Department of Structural and Municipal Engineering established in 1984. It is one of the earliest undergraduate education departments at Shenzhen University, and its faculty is supported by Tsinghua University. The college has a strong faculty with 117 full-time teachers. Among them, there are 4 full-time members of the CAE Member, 1 member of the Japanese Academy of Engineering, 1 member of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, 1 foreign member of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering, 1 foreign member of the Russian Academy of Engineering, 8 national high-level talents, 3 outstanding teachers in Guangdong Province, 1 famous teacher in Guangdong Province, and 3 "Pengcheng Scholars" in Shenzhen. More than 97% of teachers have a doctoral degree, all teachers come from prestigious universities at home and abroad, and over 74% of teachers have overseas study and work experience.

In terms of scientific research platform, the College has the Underground Polis Academy (UPA) of Shenzhen University, led by Professor Chen Xiangsheng, an academician of the CAE Member. The research institute adheres to the purpose of making original contributions to the construction of human ecological civilization, and is committed to the goal of protecting and building a beautiful ecological environment. It is based on exploring efficient ways of urban underground space development and land resource utilization. Focusing on solving major scientific problems and bottleneck technical challenges in national infrastructure construction, research is conducted on underground space (urban space) planning and urban resilience enhancement, resilient underground structure design theory and key construction technologies, damage mechanism and (self) repair technology of urban underground structures, geotechnical environmental effects of underground space development in coastal cities, urban underground space dynamics theory and disaster prevention and control technology. To cultivate and nurture a group of distinctive and industry-leading scientists, modern engineering and planning masters, and urban safety management masters, serving the integrated construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and the national major development strategy of comprehensive development and safe operation and maintenance of urban underground space resources in China.

2、Introduction to Research Direction and Collaborative Mentors

Guan Minsheng, Ph.D., specially appointed researcher, doctoral supervisor, national first-class registered structural engineer, director of the Engineering Vibration Reduction and Isolation Technology Research Center at the Future Underground City Research Institute of Shenzhen University, director of the Joint Laboratory of Vibration Reduction and Isolation Technology and Testing, Pengcheng Youcai, high-level professional talent in Shenzhen. Served as a member of the Australian Association of Steel Concrete Composite Structures (AASCCS), a member of the Chinese Society of Mechanics, a member of the Structural Engineering Professional Committee of the Guangdong Society of Civil Engineering and Architecture, a member of the Concrete and Prestressed Concrete Professional Committee of the Guangdong Society of Civil Engineering and Architecture, a member of the Steel Bridge Professional Committee of the Guangdong Society of Steel Structures, a core expert in the evaluation of second level construction engineers in Guangdong Province, and an expert of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee, among other academic part-time positions.

Presided over a number of scientific research projects, such as general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub projects of major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub projects of national key research and development plans, open projects of State Key Laboratory, and basic research projects of Shenzhen Science and Technology Plan; Published over 60 academic papers in high-level journals both domestically and internationally; Authorized 15 national invention patents and obtained 1 international PCT patent; Obtained 29 software copyrights; Participated in the compilation of two new national and association standards, including "Rubber Spring Isolators for Floating Plates in Urban Rail Transit"; Won one first prize of Guangdong Provincial Technology Invention Award, one first prize of China Industry University Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award, and one first prize of Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award.

Main research direction:

1. Theory and Enhancement Technology of Structural Seismic Resilience

2. Structural performance prediction and design optimization driven by artificial intelligence

3. Mechanical properties and design methods of high-performance composite structures

4. Intelligent seismic isolation technology and multidimensional response control

3、Requirement

(1) Individuals under the age of 35 who have obtained a doctoral degree for no more than 3 years, as well as applicants, are not eligible to apply for postdoctoral research positions in the same first level discipline as their doctoral graduation institution.

(2) Has strong research and innovation abilities and team collaboration spirit.

(3) Having good academic ethics and rigorous scientific attitude, capable of meeting the job requirements of the position.

(4) Applicants who have achieved significant scientific research results will be given priority consideration.

(5) Strong English reading and writing skills.

(6) Having a background in structural engineering, seismic engineering, mechanics, computer science, and other related fields.

4、 Term of employment benefits

The contract period for postdoctoral fellows in schools is 2 or 3 years; A comprehensive annual salary of over 330000 yuan;

1. The province and city will provide a total living allowance of 360000 yuan per eligible postdoctoral fellow.

2. The school provides a comprehensive annual salary of over 150000 yuan; Outstanding postdoctoral fellows who meet the requirements can apply for the "Lixin Award Program", and the school will provide an additional incentive salary of 48000 yuan.

3. Outstanding postdoctoral fellows who meet the requirements can directly apply for teaching positions through the "Liyuan Liujing Plan".

4. Postdoctoral fellows can independently apply for research projects at all levels as responsible persons during their tenure at the station.

5. Postdoctoral fellows who meet the requirements can apply for professional and technical qualification assessment.

6. Postdoctoral fellows can voluntarily choose to settle in Shenzhen.

7. Shenzhen provides a living allowance of 360000 yuan to postdoctoral fellows who have left the station.

8. If there are any adjustments to the postdoctoral funding policy, the latest document regulations shall prevail.

5、Job Responsibilities

(1) Assist in executing research group projects, including project organization and management, research projects, and publishing innovative academic achievements.

(2) Assist the research team in daily scientific research affairs, including guiding doctoral and master's students, organizing academic conferences, etc.
