Abstract:
Ontological study of comparative education takes the ultimate existence of comparative education as its goal to lay a foundation for intellectual education. In other words, it explores the construction of the ontological origin and guiding views, and answers questions as regards the form and significance of existence of comparative education to complete the task of naming “comparison” in relation to “education”. It extends comparative education from ontological existence to ontological excess for an ontological breakthrough to develop a possible theoretical pattern for comparative education. This attempt means a transformation of theoretical horizon and presentation of academic depths of comparative education, and provides a new approach to comparative education study by establishing a legitimate theoretical knowledge and practical basis for comparative education itself.
