Abstract:
Impact of printing media on literature is a worthwhile topic to study. A comparative investigation between printed library and handwritten books by synthesizing edition study, contents study, historical materials of printing as well as poetry notes, notes, collections of poems and prefaces and postscripts shows that there are both similarities and differences in effects of media, a prominent impact on scholarly styles and habits, and transformation of reading reception and scholarly character. Above all, block printing exercised varieties of impacts on advocating academic choice, rise of poetry notes and comments, evolution of literary style, revival of classic study and transformation of academic atmosphere.
