Abstract:
Crisis in contemporary education is essentially crisis in educational value. The disorder in contemporary educational value presents itself mainly in the excess of the instrumental value of education over its internal value in terms of relationships between man and nature, man and society and man and man and in the loosening of ideal value by realistic value. In terms of relationship between man and nature, possessive relation replaces existential relation in education; in terms of relation between man and society, publicization of individualism takes place of pursuit of “common goodness”; in terms of relation between man and man, modern people have lost their capacity of reflection with the integrity of existence broken into pieces. The true value of education cannot be recovered unless the modernistic value of education is criticized.
