Abstract:
Folk worshipd in the Han Dynasty showed distinct regional features, which mainly referred to the form of worship in a particular area, or the most developed form of the same worship. The regional worships in the Han Dynasty took shape depending on such prerequisites as succession of traditional customs, imbalance of economic development in different regions and peculiar geographical environments with the help of active priests and spread of some accidental incidents. Included in the regional folk worships were worship of natural gods and sacrifices to the eminent, which spread mainly by means of keepsakes, population migration and pressure of government policies.
