Abstract:
In the synthesis of political culture in the Qin and the Han Dynasty, the legalist theory was brought into practice for the most part. However, the legalist theory varied in this process, especially loss of “the true spirit of the legalist”. Such legalist highlights as the essence of “law”, the spirit of transforming the reality, the notion of everyone being equal before law, the noble mind of promoting public interests but limiting private interests and the theoretical system of combination of law, strategy and power all varied, which resulted in the fact that the later generation of legalists became accomplices of feudal politics.
