Abstract:
The art of Chinese architecture tends to give an infinite mood to the building by means of symbolic devices. Symbolism is the fundamental means to represent the image. And image as a selfconscious aesthetic orientation in Chinese artistic production is given the fullest display in Chinese architecture art. Chinese gardening art tends to apply invoking, creating and separating the scenery to create an infinitely rich scenery in pursuit of an artistic mood in which “Everything in nature seems at hand to pick up,” and “looks in every way out of the hands of gods”.
