Abstract:
As a great master of textual criticism, Qian Daxin made several investigationcombined historical studies with stress on edition collation and text exegesis. His studies involved a systematic examination of the evolution of executive since the Wei and the Jin Dynasty, a careful rearrangement of the evolution of political and military systems under feudal system and detailed analyses of historical personalities and phenomena. All this will show the less concerned side of Qian's historical thought and approach to history and reveal the current characteristics and historical significance of academic research in the reign of Emperors of Qianlong and Jiaqing.
