Abstract:
The intellectual form of Chinese literary theory was originated from culture of ceremony and propriety and music, which was rooted in classical Chinese view that Man be in harmony with Heaven and that Heaven noncorrespond with Land. Thus classicization of poetry with ceremony and propriety and music influenced the intellectual form and productive means of literary theory. As a result, Chinese literary theory, which was generated from culture of ceremony and propriety and music, naturally calls for a harmonious situation, that is, harmony between beauty and goodness, Man and Heaven, and reasoning and perception, which is an important basis of the view of values and the view of appreciating beauty in Chinese literary theory.
