教会大学中国籍教师与中国近代大学的学科建设

田正平(1944—),男,山西应县人,浙江大学教育学院教授,博士生导师,浙江大学中外教育现代化研究所所长。
摘要:
燕京大学社会学系成立之初以美籍教师为主体,培养目标、课程设置、教材等都有着浓厚的西方特征。1926年前后,以中国籍教师为主体的教师队伍逐步形成,他们努力创建中国的社会学理论,培养自己的社会学人才,服务于中国的社会发展,为社会学的中国化做出了重要的贡献,也为大学的学科建设提供了宝贵的经验。

Abstract:
In the early days Department of Sociology, Yanjing University, was mainly staffed with American teachers and the objectives of training, programs of courses and textbooks were thickly characteristic of the West. And a teaching faculty with Chinese teachers as the mainstay had not taken shape till some 1926. These Chinese teachers worked hard to develop Chinese theory of sociology, train Chinese sociological workers and serve development of Chinese society. They made great contributions to the Chinesization of sociology and valuable experience to the construction of college disciplines.
