Abstract:
The gap between eastern and western China was mainly caused by the regional imbalance in the course of evolution of the marketing system. As a result, there is a high-degree harmony between regional imbalance in the course of transformation of the system and the development gap between regions. Balance between eastern and western China in vigorously promoting transformation of the system should be the best policy to enhance the course of transformation of marketing system in central and western China and of integration of the national market, narrowing the existing gap between the regions and bettering the capacity of backward regions in market use and development. Accordingly, the focus of government adjustment and control should be laid on assuring balance in its opening and reform policies by making preferential arrangements for backward regions.
