Abstract:
Classics in a literary sense, which were derived from the holy books of religious beliefs, are the results from secularized classic conceptions. Classic secularization is a historical process, the general background of which was the evolution, decline and loss of primitive religions and the trend of separation of government from church. For the pre-historic China, the classification of The Book of Songs apparently shows this process from holiness to secularization. The present misinterpretation of the Chihao in Chihao in Youfeng of the Book of Songs is typical of removal, avoidance and vilification of the holy cultural connotation.
