Abstract:
When being in the countryside is forced to be rewritten by institutional changes, we must find an alternative educational scheme. What we need is not blind nostalgia for the former village, but to transform this nostalgia into an educational proposition of culturology. The only way to keep rural schools away from the countryside is to replace the “physical countryside” with the “cultural countryside”.If being in the countryside of culture is the coping theory of the integration of urban and rural education, then rural cultural education is the educational strategy to realize this theory. Rural cultural education was originally the natural attribute and educational characteristics of rural schools, but under the background of the new school leaving the hometown, it must be upgraded to a strategic institutional behavior.
