Abstract:
The successive emergence of the dynasties of Xia, Shang and Zhou was the product of the political and cultural identity of all the states on the basis of the original states. The political and cultural identity of many states with the same and different surnames to the Xia Dynasty was the fundamental internal motivation for the Xia Dynasty to gain great power status. The “China” identity of the Shang dynasty was always in line with the implementation of the internal and external services system complementing each other. With the implementation of the patriarchal enfeoffment system in the Western Zhou Dynasty, the Western Zhou Dynasty surpassed the Xia and Shang dynasties and reached the heyday of the monarchy, while the recognition of “China”also developed synchronously.
