Abstract:
There have been several semantic transformations in the concept of shame along with the great changes of modern China’s society, which is the reflection of the changes of both the society and ideas at that time. In general, the connotation of shame has three stages of development from internal feelings of individuals to group sentiments and finally to the national emotions of shame, however, the social development brings about the “deshyness” social orientation, which responds to the need of professionalism in social revolution, and reflects a growing attention to productivity itself, and at the same time meets the requirement of various social contact ways.
