Abstract:
The discourse texts of Marxist views of journalism during the sinicization process has realized the historical transformation from nonexistance to existence, and from scattered research to systematic monographs, and from onesided thinking to diversified analysis in the past 100 years. All liberary texts include not only the preliminary remarks over the May 4th movement and the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the systematic monographs of Yan’an period, but also those which glowed briefly in 1956 when the People’s Daily was revised, diversified discussion at the period of reform and opening up, and some achievements made by scholars’ deep dissection and careful study in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. They have inherited the Marxist journalistic ideal of a “people’s newspaper”, and epitomized the journalism value pursuit of “people first”.
