Abstract:
Integrating the cultivation of a craftsmanship spirit into basic education is a major proposition raised by our country in the new era. Through the textual analysis of the craftsmen and their spirit involved in the Chinese textbooks of different editions for primary and middle schools in China, it is found that there are many problems,such as a lack of continuity and reasonable grades in the distribution of contents, the low proportion of the spirit recorded in textbooks, the low social status of craftsmen and the insufficient modernity of craftsmen. The paths of a craftsmanship spirit into the Chinese textbooks for primary and secondary schools mainly include’s: integrating the craftsmanship spirit into the Chinese textbooks based on the rules of students’ cognitive development, making up the insufficient modernity of craftsmen by developing the local curriculum and school-based curriculum, planning scientifically the teaching grades of the craftsmanship spirit and strengthening the exploitation of this spirit as well as leading students’ value.
