Abstract:
In history, China’s image in Africa has undergone a long process of change. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, China’s image in Africa has become more stable and mature along with the continuous improvement of China’s international status and national image. China’s national image is closely connected with China’s Africa policy and the glorious traditions of ChinaAfrica relations. At present, China’s image in Africa still faces some challenges and problems. Based on field research and a relevant literature review, this paper attempts to take Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese in Africa as an example to explore the importance of building China’s image in Africa from a strategic perspective. China should promote the image building and maintenance of overseas Chinese in African countries through a policy a guidance and peopletopeople exchanges.
