Abstract:
The issues of China’s agriculture, rural areas and farmers (the three rural issues) are fundamental to the national economy and people’s livelihood. Under the historical background of the necessity and urgency of coordinating the issues of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”, General Secretary Xi Jinping published a series of important expositions on the issues of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”, and systematically answered three major questions of how to upgrade agriculture, how to make progress in the countryside and how to develop farmers in the new era. These expositions form Xi Jinping’s thought of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers” in the new era, and embody the value orientation of being “peoplecentered”. Studying Xi Jinping’s series of expositions on “agriculture, rural areas and farmers” is of great significance for comprehensively promoting the rural revitalization strategy in the new era and writing a new chapter for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
