Abstract:
Competitive cadre selection is an important form of selecting cadres. It plays an active role in optimizing the cadre team structure and improving the quality of the organization’s talent selection. However, there are still some problems in the practice of the competitive cadre selection, such as the program design being not so sufficiently scientific, the legal system being not firmly established, the validity of the examination link not being strong, and discipline and supervision becoming a mere sufficiently.The imperial examination system accumulated more than 1,300 years of experience on the selection of examinations.Some instrumental designs of the imperial examination system have certain reference value for the improvement of competitive selection, such as fixing the imperial examination systems as a permanent and institutional arrangement, establishing the “quanxuan” system, paying attention to the construction of the examiners team, setting different subjects to select different types of the talent, setting up “cewen” as an exam process, attaching importance to supervision and so on.
