Abstract:
Mencius’ theory of good nature is the theoretical cornerstone of Confucian moral philosophy, laying the foundation for the evolution of Confucian virtue ethics. Kant’s theory of good will is the center of his theory of moral philosophy theory. The theory of obligation based on this theory has a farreaching influence on the modern development of western moral philosophy. These two theories have different ways of thinking about the choice of human ability, the choice of the good path and the setting of the best goal.
