Abstract:
This article suggests that the study of Marxist literary theory should change in concepts and methods, so as to adapt to the new situation in the new context and to effectively avoid employing unidirectional analogical interpretation of the concept and paradigm of Western Marxist literary theory to connect Chinese literary theory and reality. In addition, this article attempts to go back to the preimage of Marx’s texts and thoughts, and truly associate the Marxist literary theory with the reality of Chinese contemporary literature through the reflection of the issue of the unidirectional analogical interpretation of the Western Marxist literary theory in an ideological way as well as the regression of the reconstruction and formation of Marxist literary theory in the way of theoretical consciousness. Marxist literary theory should be a theory about facing up to Chinese problems and solving the problems of Chinese literature, which is also a characteristic of the original study of Marxist literary theory.
