Abstract:
The Aesthetical Studies of Modern NeoConfucianism began from the 1980s and 1990s. After two stages,it begins to grow into maturity.The research results can be divided into two categories: the system research of modern NeoConfucianism aesthetics and the monographic study of modern NeoConfucianism aesthetics. The monographic study of modern NeoConfucianism aesthetics includes five subjects:the living Spirit ,the Spirit of Chinese art,the explanation of Zhuangzi,the theory of spiritual borders and the rethink of aesthetics. These five subjects are the basic subjects of modern NeoConfucianist aesthetics and important subjects of the times. Rethinking history, the beginning and incalescence of the Aesthetical Studies of Modern NeoConfucianism are consequential. The method consciousness of researchers are valuable. The comparative consciousness, the confluent visual field of Confucianism and Taoism, a clue to philosophyaesthetics, and so on, provide the method inspiration for the rebuilding of Chinese modern aesthetics.
