Abstract:
In the ocean of human thought and culture, Feng current in Chinese cultural tradition can be said to be extensive and profound, which is congenial to both the outstanding figures and erudite scholars; high culture has its complex and low society cannot be uninvolved. Its charm is that it is the spirit and coloration of a great nation. Feng (the “airs” section) can be condensed into a bone stick, while the current (flowing) can be sublimated to the national quintessence. The virtue and good of harmony are precious and the stirring mutation happens each passing day. Generations of Chinese people, and even foreigners who have ties with Chinese culture, have been influenced by such “windspirit”. Groups of temperaments, including those marginal figures gluttoned by poetry, wine, love and hate, are largely shaped by the varying Fengmien. People compete with each other for performing the Fengcurrent and the Fengcurrent molds human beings. In summary, the Fengcurrent transforms China, while China is the Fengcurrent.
