Abstract:
The Bamboo Slips Fan Wu Liu Xing Collected at the Shanghai Museum attracted attention from many scholars, and the academic aspect of it has been discussed. The opinion of Wang Zhongjiang has wide influence which attributes it to Taoism. But I think his analysis may cause some problems, and many similar analyses also have methodological problems. In fact, the thought of Fan Wu Liu Xing have complex sources, which means the author of it may have learned many different sources of thought. And Fan Wu Liu Xing has two texts, proving it has been widely read. The author of it may be famous and could have been a master at that time, at least in that area. Accordingly the school of Fan Wu Liu Xing should be named after the author.
