Abstract:
Technological progress has provided the impetus for human civilization, and at the same time it has also created some controversial environmental problems, forming the socalled paradox of technology and the environment. To trace the phenomenon of this paradox and back to its source, we find “the supremacy of interests is the ultimate source, and institutional mismatch is the key enabler”.But in the final analysis, the paradox is caused by the value distortion of technological application. In view of the root cause of the paradox between technology and the environment, this paper starts with the transformation of values, and uses the promotion of human capital, the construction of institutional system and the improvement of the level of technology and other measures, to effectively cope with the paradox, and finally achieve the healthy development of technology and environment.
