Abstract:
Based on the review of previous research results and the definition of relevant core concepts, this paper evaluates the core of the Silk Road economic belt from the aspects of overall efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency, (including China’s five provinces in the northwest and five countries in Central Asia) 2004-2014 logistics efficiency. The results show that: The overall efficiency of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt is low and the trend of Wtype is mainly due to the low efficiency of the logistics industry; The overall efficiency of the logistics industry in the domestic section of the provinces from high to low is Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, Shaanxi and Ningxia, in Central Asia from high to low followed by Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
