Abstract:
Ma Jigao’s edited Collection of Ci & Fu in Chinese History is a large compilation of Chinese Cifu. Its publication has great value in the Ci & Fu and even the entire literary and historical research field. However, because of the variety of content, editing is numerous, in the book compilation appeared some careless omissions and errors. There are five main aspects: the same author mistakenly split the two people; the same works mistakenly made two separate; some versions of works do not proofread each other carefully; the standard of positive set and outer set is not unified; the geographical limitation of local records. How to screen the selected works, as the book editor Ma Jigao plateau has a clear sense of differentiation, and put forward a clear selection criteria. However, in later practical compilation process, these consciousness and standards have not had a unified implementation, resulting in a certain degree of confusion. The errors in editing are concentrated in the volumes of the Qing Dynasty. Among them, the problems of the four hundred million words removed from Fuhai Grand View are especially prominent. It may be the hardest hit in the entire codification work.
