Abstract:
This study makes a comparison between moral education and ideological political education in terms of power. On the one hand, the two are both densely tinted with values and have much to do with power. On the other, however, moral education depends more on academic power whereas ideological political education, more on political power. Specifically speaking, in terms of characteristics of power, moral education emphasizes the relativity of power which ideological political education, its absoluteness; in terms of elements of power, moral education highlights normal elements of power but ideological political education, its conventional elements. Finally, in terms of operation of power, moral education emphasizes consultative action while ideological political education, the rule of compulsory inculcation.
