An outstanding theorist of the Communist Party of China in the early days, Yun Daiying made a systematic analysis of Chinese industrialization as early as 1920. He was the first in the Communist Party of China to point out that China had to realize industrialization, insisting that industrialization and modernization had to be realized by means of market mechanism. He advocated promoting industrialization by introducing foreign capital and intelligence. Yun’s theory of industrialization was scientific and predictive, and was of important enlightenment to exploring a newlytype Chinacharacteristic socialist road in present days.
