Yun Daiying introduced the three functions of commemorations, that is, presenting historical facts, determining historical place and summarizing historical experience by commemoration so as to intensify memory of history; justifying the revolution, explaining the task and strategy of the revolution by commemoration and highlighting the expressive function of commemoration; coordinating SinoRussian and SinoJapanese relations and enhancing the unity of the world revolution, and showing the coordinative function of commemoration.
