Abstract:
In order to enhance academic research and construction of history of Chinese historiography, we should vigorously explore those key issues in the evolution of history of Chinese historiography. Moreover, effort should be made to summarize and interpret the modernistic and theoretical contents, thoughts, propositions and methodologies which show the national characteristics of Chinese historiography and manifest the great creativity of national culture. Attempt should be made to attain new syntheses and expressions to exhibit achievements and distinctive glamour of traditional and modern historiographies to promote the dissemination of Chinese scholarship all over the world.
