Abstract:
The outbreak of global banking crisis, global popularization of the neoliberal policy and unreasonable social policies helped intensify the current social crisis in western countries. In response to the social crisis, new social movements assume different features and orientations: extensive regional distribution, more prominent political demands, wider coverage of participation and stronger organization. In the future, western countries will be faced with social movements with even higher frequency, even wider coverage of participation and even stronger political demands. This indicates that people have developed even deeper understanding of the crisis contained in capitalist system.
