Abstract:
To properly interpret Taoism, enough concern should be shown both with similarities between Chinese and Western philosophies and with characteristics of Chinese philosophy. Moreover proper consideration should be made in terms of integrity between logic and history and association between unity of heaven and man and ethical politics. Since the text of Lao Zi occurs in form of poetry and maxim, interpretation of it should be done not merely by means of lexical explanation, inference or deduction but from a multiperspective and multiangle view.
