Abstract:
Chinese modernization is a form of socialist modernization led by the Communist Party of China.It not only shares common characteristics with modernization in other countries but also possesses distinct Chinese features based on its own national conditions.To effectively narrate China’s story in the new era, it is crucial to accurately convey the narrative of Chinese modernization.Currently, the international dissemination of Chinese modernization presents a favorable trend characterized by active global interest and high regard for its achievements.However, there are also challenges in understanding its nature, impact, and distinctive features due to cultural differences.From a crosscultural cognition perspective, to enhance the international communication of Chinese modernization, it is essential to effectively articulate the common logic of technological advancement, industrialization, urbanization, marketization, and globalization.Furthermore, it is important to highlight the ‘Chinesestyle’ characteristics based on unique cultural traditions, historical destiny, and fundamental national conditions.The historical development trajectory of Chinese modernization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China should also be wellcommunicated, along with significant achievements in the political, economic, cultural, social, and ecological domains.Methodologically, it involves building narratives with distinctive Chinese characteristics, historical comparative narratives, narratives through intelligent communication mediums, and developmental narratives that envision the future.These approaches aim to showcase the inherent logic, significant contributions, growth potential, and robust vitality of Chinese modernization.
