Abstract:
The epistemological essence of Comenius’ Didactica is the process of providing rationalization for the teaching method he found, that is,“art”. In this process, in fact, “reason” above the teaching method and “Tao” above the “reason” are presented. Among them, “Tao” is the order of nature, “reason” is the educational principle obtained by imitating and following nature, and “art” is the educational rule stipulated by the educational principle. In terms of the method of knowledge organization, with the aim of “the formation of human”, Comenius organized education into the process of life and formed the educational value. Taking “the way of nature” as the model, the order and harmony are organized into the process of education, which forms the principle of education. Taking “correct teaching” as the center, the opinions and experiences are organized into teaching and educating people, forming the educational rules. Based on the “transcendental thought”, the scattered understanding is organized into the ideological system to form the educational theory system, it is fair to say that such giants in the history of education as Comenius are actually both educationalists and educational knowledge organizers.
