Sun Lei: PhD, winner of the National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Young Scientist Fund.\nI Graduated from Shandong University Taishan Academy at 2014, obtained a PhD degree at Tsinghua University at 2019, and conducted postdoctoral research. At the end of 2022, I joined the School of Life Sciences of Shandong University as an independent PI to establish the RNA Structome Laboratory.Our laboratory mainly integrates molecular biology, systems biology and artificial intelligence methods, and uses sequencing methods to study the effects of RNA structure on post-transcriptional regulation, and applies it to RNA vaccine design, RNA virus drug development, etc. related work has been published in journals such as Cell, Nature Methods, Cell Research, Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, and Nucleic Acids Research. As an interdisciplinary laboratory, we welcome students who do wet experiments as well as students who do analysis. At the same time, we jointly recruit doctoral students with mathematics and computer research backgrounds with the "Center for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences". Our team is looking for masters, doctors, postdoctoral fellows, and research assistants who are interested in RNA structure, RNA regulation, bioinformatics analysis, and artificial intelligence. We are proud of our work and strive to do rigorous scientific work.We welcome overseas students to come to our lab, whether as exchange scholars, summer school or graduate or doctoral students.
