Title: New test vector for Waldspurger's period integral, and hybrid subconvexity bounds

Abstract: In this talk I will introduce a new type of test vectors for supercuspidal representations. It has many interesting properties when compared with classical newforms. I will explain how it can be applied to study the Waldspurger's period integral and relative trace formula, giving rise to hybrid subconvexity bounds of L-functions which can be as strong as Weyl bound in proper range.
