Zhang Donggang, Chair of the University Council of Renmin University of China (RUC), met with representatives from the partner institutions of the America-China-Europe (ACE) Triple Bachelor's Degree Program on the morning of March 10th.
The visiting delegation included Antonio Majocchi, Deputy Rector of LUISS University in Italy, and Teresa Murphy, Deputy Provost of George Washington University in the United States. RUC Vice President Zheng Xinye attended the meeting.
Zhang Donggang emphasized that the United States and Italy are significant partners of China, and their trilateral cooperation fosters mutual development while contributing to building a global community with a shared future.
He highlighted that the ACE Triple Program is the world's first international management triple-degree program and has become a model for cultivating future global business leaders.
Looking ahead, Zhang hoped that RUC, LUISS University, and George Washington University would continue deepening their collaboration to cultivate interdisciplinary talent and promote cross-cultural youth dialogue.
He envisioned leveraging the strengths of all three institutions to build a global humanities and social sciences network, strengthening the World Alliance of Humanities and Social Sciences Universities to enhance its global influence.
Antonio Majocchi stated that LUISS University, as a leading European institution for social sciences research and education, maintains its international competitiveness through a world-class faculty and extensive global partnerships.
He noted that the ACE Triple Program is a strategic initiative for LUISS, attracting numerous outstanding students, and expressed a strong commitment to deepening cooperation with RUC in various fields.
Teresa Murphy emphasized that, in the context of economic globalization, the ACE Triple Program provides students with diverse cross-cultural learning experiences.
She highlighted its role in enhancing students' abilities in international business management and global market insights, equipping them with a solid foundation for future careers.
She expressed eagerness to strengthen ties with RUC and further cultivate internationally minded professionals.
RUC’s Office of International Student Affairs, Business School, and International Office participated in the meeting.
Following the discussions, Vice President Zheng Xinye held a trilateral symposium with delegations from LUISS University and George Washington University.
He underscored that the program allows outstanding young scholars from China, Italy, and the United States to study, live, and grow together, fostering cross-border humanistic connections and contributing to a shared future for humanity.
The symposium participants engaged in discussions on the future development of the program and explored ways to enhance its sustainability, strategic direction, and innovative approaches to education.
After the meeting, the delegations visited RUC’s Business School, where they held a series of working meetings to discuss the program’s framework, curriculum innovation, and other key topics.
Current students from the 2022 and 2024 cohorts of the ACE Triple Program also participated in discussions with the visiting representatives.
ACE Triple Bachelor's Degree Program, launched in 2022 by RUC, LUISS University in Italy, and George Washington University in the US, aims to cultivate future global business leaders through an innovative international education model.
