On the afternoon of February 6, Zhu Xinkai, Executive Vice President of Renmin University of China (RUC), inspected the resumption of work at the construction site of the Tongzhou Campus and presided over the mobilization and deployment meeting to advance the campus construction.

Wen Bing, General Manager of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), participated in the inspection of the Phase II construction site of the North District Academic Building and attended the meeting.

Zhu Xinkai inspected the Phase I construction site of the East District student dormitory, inquired about the resumption of work and the construction schedule, and listened to reports from Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG), the construction contractor. He emphasized the need to strengthen safety awareness, implement safety responsibilities, enhance on-site management, strictly control project quality, and ensure construction progress.

Zhu Xinkai and Wen Bing then inspected the Phase II construction site of the North District Academic Building. They also inspected the interior of the academic building, including fine decoration and electromechanical installation. Zhu stressed the importance of ensuring safety and quality while accelerating project progress to guarantee timely delivery.

Subsequently, Zhu Xinkai presided over the mobilization and deployment meeting for the Tongzhou Campus construction progress.

Zhu stated that he hopes that the corporations which are responsible for construction and maintenance at the Tongzhou Campus, will further advance project quality and progress with meticulous attention, re-mobilize and re-deploy resources, and ensure high-quality construction and on-schedule delivery of all project clusters.

Wen expressed that CSCEC will continue to advance the construction tasks at RUC's Tongzhou Campus with a higher level of commitment and quality. He stated that CSCEC will always keep in mind the user perspective, focusing on quality, details, and progress to deliver the best campus experience for faculty and students through high-quality construction.

The Tongzhou Campus Construction Department categorized the projects into three types: completed projects, projects nearing completion awaiting inspection, and ongoing projects. It emphasized the task lists and timelines for construction arrangements, quality improvement, inspection preparation, document handover, and maintenance organization for each project.

Li Ming, Director of the Tongzhou Campus Construction Department, Wang Fuyin, Chair of the Tongzhou Campus, Zhang Xiaorong, Chief Engineer of the Tongzhou Campus Construction Department, and other relevant officials, as well as representatives from construction corporations, attended the meeting.
