1. Objectives
The undergraduate program of the Department of Psychology is focusing on applied psychology. It adopts the "MIT"(Make-I-Talent) model as its cultivation objective framework. After four years of study, students should be capable of undertaking national Missions, possess professional Abilities and Knowledge and good Ethics, gain Insights about human nature and human psychological and behavioral laws, and finally become academic or applied psychology Talents needed by the country and the people.
2. Requirements
In terms of ideological literacy, students of our program should systematically master the basic theories of Marxism, possess a scientific worldview, patriotism, and collectivism, have ideals, morality, culture, and discipline, aspire to devote themselves to the construction of China, and possess a lofty mission as "pillars of rejuvenation, pioneers for a strong nation".
In terms of knowledge level, students of our program should master solid basic theoretical and practical applied knowledge of psychology, complete methodological knowledge represented by experiments, surveys, and statistics; possess innovative consciousness and basic abilities to conduct scientific research, and practical thinking and practical skills to engage in psychology-related work.
In terms of comprehensive abilities, students of our program should possess the core competitiveness of the major to understand the world from psychological perspectives, be adept at understanding human nature and observing human minds; and complete comprehensive qualities, including a healthy body, a sound personality, good psychological quality, proficient Chinese and English writing and communication skills, a broad international vision, and profound historical insights.

Total credits: 143 credits. Duration: four years. Degree awarded: Bachelor of Science.
4. Curriculum Settings
(1) General Education Module: 56 credits.
(2) Major Module: 65 credits.
(3) Innovative Training and Scientific Research Module: 12 credits.
(4) Quality Expansion and Development Guidance Module: 10 Credits
5. Semester Arrangement
Each academic year is divided into three semesters: Autumn Semester, Spring Semester, and International Mini-Semester.
